The Psychodynamic Coaching Institute was founded in service of a deeper orientation to coaching - one that recognises human change as a process of becoming, not fixing.
While much of contemporary coaching has focused on optimisation, performance, and behavioural outcomes, it has often left little room for questions of meaning, inner authority, and the deeper movements of the psyche.
Our work is grounded in a dynamic, and psychospiritual understanding of change - one that views transformation as a process of individuation: the ongoing unfolding of self-knowledge, integrity, and wholeness.
This is coaching that honours the inner life - including shadow, imagination, somatic intelligence, and purpose - as vital forces shaping how we live, lead, and relate.

Amanda Davies
Amanda Davies is an award-winning business leader, a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for over 20 years, and a Certified Somatic Practitioner.
As a Fellow of the Association for Coaching (AC), Amanda has made significant contributions to the industry and pioneered the world's first Psychodynamic Coaching methodology. Her work brings depth, embodiment, and psychological insight into the coaching field - translating Jungian and psychodynamic principles into a living, ethical, and transformative coaching lineage.
Amanda is passionate about supporting coaches and leaders who are ready to move beyond surface-level change and work with greater self-awareness, integrity, and impact.
